What is Afro Punk?

According to their website Afro Punk is refers to the participation of African Americans and other black people in the punk and alternative music cultures, especially in the United States, where this scene had been overwhelmingly white. In the early 21st century, Afro-punks made up a minority in the North American punk scene - (Wikipedia)

The above description wraps me up perfectly, however I think I may have missed the authentic version of Afropunk because its so popular and is growing at a rapid rate.

Growing up I was really different - I did not fitin the typical Black girl mold as a result I have always been calling out for my people and can only thank God they they have come into my exsitance.

Anyway, I will be selling there next month and I am really looking forward to it.
